Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location is the fifth installment in Scott Cawthon's survival horror franchise. Sister Location differs significantly from the other four games in terms of gameplay.
In this FNAF game, players no longer sit in the office as a night guard but take on the role of a technician working the night shift at Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. Instead of simply monitoring cameras, you'll travel between different areas of the underground facility. The goal is to perform maintenance and repair systems to complete each night's assigned maintenance tasks while avoiding deadly animatronics.
There are 5 nights, each with new mechanics and objectives. You might crawl through maintenance vents, reboot power systems, hide from animatronics, solve environmental puzzles, or follow instructions from the facility's AI, HandUnit.
As in prior games FNAF 4, you will be able to control an observation system with cameras in each room, allowing you to observe where the animatronics are at any given time, allowing you to determine which path to take to avoid them. Opening and closing doors, as well as other mechanisms, will be available to you in order to prevent animatronics from tracking you down.
Each night begins with a new objective from HandUnit. Be sure to listen to the instructions carefully before you travel to any assigned area and complete the task. This voice will introduce you to the game and will explain the controls, how to move, open and lock doors, and how to go through vents, among other things.
Explore and travel around the facility to reach the destination and perform your assigned hands-on activities, from rebooting systems to repairing machinery, pressing control buttons, and more.
Throughout the game, you will come across various objects that you can use to elude animatronics or confuse them. Use these items wisely. Depending on the situation, you may need to hide, stay perfectly still, close protective panels, or follow specific instructions to avoid being detected.
