In the entertaining tactical defense game Garfield War, you take on the role of Garfield and defend Jon's refrigerator from waves of strange food adversaries. You try to keep anything from getting to the refrigerator, shift Garfield left and right, and call in assistants with popcorn.
Garfield can be moved by using the left and right arrow keys. Spend popcorn and call forth allies by clicking with the mouse. When an enemy approaches, Garfield launches an automated attack. Put your assistants in front of the refrigerator in a solid line. Get more popcorn and unlock stronger units by surviving each wave. The foes in later waves become more formidable and swift.
As food enemies rush into the refrigerator, you move Garfield into place. They battle when you drop popcorn to call forth dogs or other helpers. You rush to position the appropriate units before a large wave breaks through. You are relieved when the wave passes. When opponents push hard and your popcorn is low, it becomes tense.
